look what's special sunday: younglife

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change."
James 1:17

I'm going to try something new on sundays..we'll see if it sticks! I want to share something that is special to me/something I am thankful for! What's better than sharing why we're blessed? If y'all want to join in feel free! I'll post a button if y'all want to use it! It doesn't have to be a person or anything big, sometimes the little things are the best--like sharing a dinner with someone special or getting spend a day with friends.

Today I want to share with you an organization I joined this year, Younglife. {check out the website-a great thing to get involved with} It's an organization where adults volunteer to share the word of God with high school students. This past year I spent going through training to become a leader. Towards the end of the year I was placed at a high school and in the fall when school starts I will get my own group of girls. I am SO excited. but SO nervous. I haven't been involved long, but it's already completely changed my life. I've met all of my roommates {aka best friends} through Younglife and it's crazy how quickly we bonded because God is what brought us together.

but enough about me, I'd love to hear what is special to y'all--comment or let me know if you have your own post so I can read!

That's so awesome! I was in Younglife in high school and it was such a positive experience. One summer I did a Younglife camp in Michigan and it was like the best summer of my whole life! That's really cool that you're going to be volunteering with them. :)

Such a cute idea! And I've always heard my friends talk about Younglife! They say its been the most amazing thing they have ever been apart of, but I moved my senior year from Kentucky and we didn't have that there so I never got to be apart of it :( sad day. I love listening to peoples stories about it though!
