new goal perhaps?

today was spent with family: shopping, lunch, and relaxing. i got to dreaming and think it would be amazing to live in europe for a bit...? obviously this seems farfetched but while i was young-what an experience that would be :)

haha. big dreams :) clearly from my touristy selections, i don't know what i'm talking about but how amazing would that be? i really want to. we'll see :) any europeans/well traveled people out there with an opinion?

on another note, sad news. they cancelled desperate housewives. now i'm aware this show is a tad bit dramatic--but for some reason, i like it-what a bummer. off to fall asleep watching glee :)

sorry for the lack of posts! it's been a busy weekend--moving clint in, now my birthday :) can't wait to update y'all and let you know how my birthday went!

so what do you think?

i'm indecisive and not all that creative--so what do you think? i may still have some tweaking to do, but for now it's staying.. {for those of you new readers, i've changed my blog for like the 987453 time haha}

today was clint's mom's birthday so I spent the evening with his family and it was wonderful! his niece {lily} was there so you know she stole my attention. 

we had dinner

watched a movie on the 2 minute car ride home :) 

did a tinkerbell puzzle :)

wrestled with uncle clint :)

just your average day at the nelson's house...

SO. I thought i'd have nothing interesting to tell you guys today--i went swimming for the first time this entire summer and i've been out of school since the end of april..insane right? might even be a crime. I went with the most adorable little girl ever. Lily Isabelle.

BUT. that's not even the most exciting part. came home, spending quality time with the family, hanging out outside grilling--mom making french fries in the oven when all of a sudden we hear screaming and low and behold-she started a fire. {and if you knew my mom, you'd know that this isn't surprising at ALL--no offense mom, if you're reading this} never a dull moment in this household. we couldn't even see two inches in front of us because there was SO much smoke. once all the madness died down i took a picture

{and the front door open to speed up the process}

we were inhaling smoke for almost an hour--good times. :) clearly our home isn't filled with Martha Stewart's and Betty Crocker's--we can't be the only ones this happens to, right? {you can say yes just to make us feel better, i won't mind} now off to watch BIG BROTHER! may have to post later with my thoughts :) we'll see!
