books! i need books :)

i'm stuck--around christmas time i read all of Emily Giffin's novels and have read a few random ones since then, but nothing great. any suggestions?

they are ALL amazing and i cannot wait until the next! {i think it comes out around summer 2012} i never saw the movie for something borrowed, so i don't know if it's any good--don't base the book off the movie if it wasn't good because the books are great. she somehow ties a character into each book--a small role so they aren't really connected, but enough to think it was clever.

i typically like fun/light hearted reads because during the year reading is only something i can do in my free time so i like it to be relaxing, BUT if you insist, i am open for anything :) SO recommendations?!

yours truly,
kelley mackenzie

A really good book that I love is Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella! It's one of my favorites! And, if you're into historical fiction, Kommandants Girl is seriously like one of the best books i've ever read! It's a love story/suspense novel that takes place in WWII, you should check it out! Good luck book searching :)

Hmmm I just bought Water for Elephants and I'm currently reading The Host?! Lol. And thanks for the suggestion on getting my puppy to like the water haha (about the baby pool)!

Just saw you like Mio! Random story for ya! Some Marketing guy from Kraft (who makes Mio) came to my Sales Management class last fall and we had to practice selling Mio and we were the first class or anyone to see it haha. So whenever we see it at the grocery stores we are like YES we thought of ways to help this product haha.

Like Lindy said up top, The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella is great. It's light reading but it's hilarious. I definitely recommend that. All of her books actually are a good light read.

I don't know how "light" either is, but "Blue Like Jazz" and "Redeeming Love" are both AMAZING Christian books, and you will LOVE them!
