TOMORROW!

i've got a confession, i may lose some followers by admitting this slightly embarrassing fact about myself but here goes: i am in love with britney spears. it's true, when i was younger {like elementary/middle school..not last week ;) } it was an unhealthy obsession--but now i am pleased to inform you that it has turned into a completely healthy obsession! is there even such thing?! anyways. i bring all this up because iiii am going to her concert tomorrow with by wonderful best friend phoebe. this is our excitement:

i realize she's not a class act--but what can i say? I'm a loyal fan :) it will be my first britney spears concert so tuesday be expecting a full report--and a picture of me in my concert tee ;) i better get off here--phoebe has work in the morning and i'm being annoying on the computer :)

it's hereeee!

my bike! it finally came and is assembled! whoever made that saying "it's like riding a bike--you never forget" was wrong. I wouldn't say that i forgot, but i definitely need practice if i'm going to make it to class without falling over.

okay--forgive me but i am not going to be doing the vlog link-up this week, i fully intended on doing it, but got busy this week, and then when i sat down to do it {tonight} i wasn't prepared for how awkward i would be haha--i had the video going && i made a fool of myself. mostly because i don't know what to tell you about myself! so forgive me please?! Courtney from Dear Darling posts a new topic every monday--so maybe one week i'll grow some confidence/actually have something to say :) how about some random facts about me instead?!

               -born in Greece

               -lived in Greece, South Dakota, Texas, Arizona, and Tennessee

               -favorite movie Dirty Dancing/anything with Johnny Depp {aka my future husband--even if he doesn't know it yet}

              -growing up i was one of those kids that tried every activity but nothing stuck {except being a nerd}

              -scared of: the dark, every scary movie, tornados, and people chasing me haha

just peachy!

ah! so change of plans--past two days i've been at school finishing my room-soo i've got before and after pictures! i'm in love--but if you're not a girly girl, my room may just make you gag! {actually it will make you gag--but i think it's just so pretty} i'll be doing my vlog link up tomorrow now!

the pictures don't do it justice--it hasn't been lived in for a WHILE, i wish y'all could see HOW dirty the room was..our feet were black walking around, we scrubbed the floors for over an hour, yuck!

so what do you think?! i wasn't exaggerating about the girlyness was i? but the room has a feeling--it's happy :) ha! i can't wait to move in! i didn't get an after shot of the closet-but when i finish bringing clothes over i'll show you--we made it cute! I got SO lucky finding such an amazing place to live :)

most of the stuff was found at garage sales, antique stores, and tj maxx! bargain shopping at it's finest :) the paint color is called clay fire and is a Porter's paint--just in case you like it :) the peach turned out better than i expected!

oh&&i have to share a new store i found! i love it--to the few of you who live in: knoxville, birmingham, huntsville, or murfreesboro--Altar'd State they have the cutest clothes and it's Christian based--they donate a lot to charities. anyways, y'all give me your opinions-i can't wait to hear from you!

whew, what a weekend!

i've been m.i.a--i know, i know. my best friend came in town last weekend (phoebe) and had no time to blog! but now i have fun pictures and stories. saturday we decided to do a photo shoot out in the country--which lasted two hours and consisted of four hundred thirty-seven photos. a little excessive if i do say so myself.

{keep in mind it was 100 degrees so we were happy to see water}

so. funny story. when we were at the little house with the women's sign everyone was posed for pictures as i start screaming "take my boot off!! take my boot off!!!" everyone looks at me like i'm crazy and start laughing as i hop around screaming trying to pull my boot off--finally haley pulls it off, unfortunately it was after the bee stung me on my ankle and after i made myself look like a fool. did i mention it was not an abandon house, but rather in the middle of a busy canoe rental?  needless to say, the next two days my ankle felt like it was broken

later that night we went to jazz on the lawn {an event held at our local winery where you can sit among the vineyard or dance to live music--the whole town is there} phoebe got to see a lot of the people i grew up with so it was nice.

sunday was spent relaxing on the river and then i was back to reality. oh! update: going strong in my water drinking :) be proud. although i may be cheating. i'm adding this to my water:

no calories or anything--experts out there--am i cheating? regardless, if you guys haven't tried these, GET them! they are so good. be looking for a vlog later, because i am going to be participating in a vlog link-up. {either tonight or tomorrow}

just your average day at the nelson's house...

SO. I thought i'd have nothing interesting to tell you guys today--i went swimming for the first time this entire summer and i've been out of school since the end of april..insane right? might even be a crime. I went with the most adorable little girl ever. Lily Isabelle.

BUT. that's not even the most exciting part. came home, spending quality time with the family, hanging out outside grilling--mom making french fries in the oven when all of a sudden we hear screaming and low and behold-she started a fire. {and if you knew my mom, you'd know that this isn't surprising at ALL--no offense mom, if you're reading this} never a dull moment in this household. we couldn't even see two inches in front of us because there was SO much smoke. once all the madness died down i took a picture

we were inhaling smoke for almost an hour--good times. :) clearly our home isn't filled with Martha Stewart's and Betty Crocker's--we can't be the only ones this happens to, right? {you can say yes just to make us feel better, i won't mind} now off to watch BIG BROTHER! may have to post later with my thoughts :) we'll see!

it's official...

 {this is what this dress makes me want to do--and twirl}

due to y'alls encouragement/advice, today was my first day of just water. a lot of you are proooobably thinking "wow this girl is dramatic" but let me tell you--if you cut me open, i'd probably bleed sweet tea--so this is going to be a challenge.

i even made it through a meal at taco bell without ordering their raspberry sweet tea--so here goes, this may be an epic fail, but all of you promise better skin so it's worth a shot! other than that, today was very low key-lots of family time and it ended with a taco bell date, can't complain right?

PS! you're about to see me at my MOST excited--tomorrow is the start of my favorite show: big brother!!! any other fans out there? i maay be the only one, but i'm not only kind of ashamed to admit i'm obsessed!
